On Midsummer’s Day, join us for a panel discussion exploring the meeting point of Jungian psychology, mythology, and astrology at a moment of significant cultural and archetypal transition.
Navigating the Great Threshold: Jungian Astrology at the Intersection of Depth and Time brings together three perspectives that examine how archetypal forces unfold through psyche, myth, and cosmic pattern. Drawing on Jungian concepts and contemporary thought, the panel explores how astrology can illuminate both personal and collective transformation during periods of profound historical change.
Panelists will consider several thematic perspectives:
The Mythopoetic View – Anchoring the Soul:
Mythopoetic imagination as a bridge to the eternal and a way of grounding the psyche in symbolic meaning. (Dr. Robert Roddy)
The Quantum View – Entangled Heavens:
Quantum potentiality and the archetypal field, exploring parallels between Jung’s concept of the Unus Mundus and modern physics. (Dr. Darell Shaffer)
The 2026 View – The Great Ingress:
Major outer-planet shifts and rare alignments in 2026 that may signal deep collective and cultural transformation. (Dr. Caromyr Figueroa)
Together, these perspectives invite reflection on how the Spirit of the Times—the shifting values and structures of a given era—interacts with what Jung called the Spirit of the Depths, the timeless archetypal wisdom emerging from the collective unconscious.
Through mythopoetic thinking, symbolic understanding, and astrological insight, this panel explores how we might better orient ourselves within the unfolding patterns of psyche and cosmos.
This event will be held in person at the Carondelet Center in St. Paul, MN and online via Zoom.
