Elements, the journal of the Minnesota Jung
Association
Welcome to the “Elements” page. Not unlike the mythic
Phoenix rising from the ashes, rebirthing itself after the fire, “Elements,” the
journal of the Minnesota Jung Association (MJA), is reborn in 2011! In its new
form, “Elements” is a quarterly journal, which will feature contributions by
members and friends of the MJA. Contributions include articles, commentaries,
poems, movie/theater/TV reviews, stories and artwork incorporating Jungian
concepts. The ideal aim of each issues’ content, style and imagery will be
to correspond by quarter to each of the four elements—fire, water, air, and
earth, though contributions on non-element-specific topics are welcome.
“Elements’ is designed to be a dynamic, engaging, thought-provoking and modern
journal, reflective of our community and its interest in continuing to keep the
works of Carl G. Jung alive and growing.
Information about each upcoming issue and its respective
element will be mailed out to the MJA mailing list well in advance, including an
official “call for submissions,” though a calendar overview of the first year is
listed below if a particular element and its themes is of interest to you. The
contact e-mail for “Elements” (submissions and all inquiries) is
elements.mja@gmail.com. We at the
MJA look forward to hearing from you!
Symbolically Yours,
Shane Nygaard
